Really? The Claim: Drink Eight Glasses of Water a Day to Protect the Kidneys – NYTimes.com

The findings, the authors said, do not support “aggressive fluid loading,” which can cause side effects. But they do provide evidence that moderately increased fluid intake, above two liters daily, “may in fact benefit the kidney.”

Proper Hydration for Exercise – Water or Sports Drinks

For those of you spending a lot of time indoors on the trainer remember to hydrate.  Here is a good general article on the subject. Even you outdoor exercisers need to keep up on the fluid intake. Water is so important. Not only do we bath in it but so are  the the cells in our body. I would include water as a nutrient that is how important it is.
