Going over some back issues of the League of American Bicyclists I came across this article on page 8. The story was about how Omaha is becoming more bicycling friendly. Kent has always been a strong advocate of a cycling friendly community and it’s good to see his smile. Keep up the good work Kent!

On my part, I plan on bringing new and innovative ideas of coaching, training and riding, along with the tell tale proven ideas, to Lincoln and the surrounding region.
I came across this list of not so bad foods on Active nutrition. I’ve never disliked pork rinds but thought they would be bad for me. I thought they lacked any nutritional value. Then again I never really checked. Never assume.
So if you happen to see me eating a bag o’ rinds you’ll now know why.

Nike has a protectionsystem for basketball players that offers padding in certain contact areas that players experience . There is even a design for football players. What about roller derby?
Will cyclist be then next athletes to wear something like this? I could see it as beneficial for collar bone protection. Will Lance be our guinea pig? Time will only tell.
